‘Cornwall County Racketball Team are Triumphant!’
The Cornwall team, in their first outing at this level, came away as unexpected winners of their group of the Inter County Racketball national championship inWinchesterlast weekend. The team now proceed to the next stage of the competition in February against other group winners nationwide.
Team members Peter Madsen(Captain), Jamie Moxom, Chris Lawrance (all Truro Squash & Racketball Club), Rory Brickell and Jon Newton (both Falmouth Sports Club) showed outstanding resilience to pull out of the bag great results over two tough opponents in South Wales and Hampshire.

This date has been set as 19th 20th of January and will be held at Falmouth Squash Club.

Just to say that Falmouth is very happy to have any racketball teams (4 or 5 players) for a friendly match at Falmouth or we could travel to any of the Clubs. I think Penzance could be up for a ‘challenge’, and Truro could see another friendly match sooner rather than later. Lets get talking! Shuv x
