A date for your diary O35 squashers!
Inter County O35 Stage 1 – weekend 5th/6th November. Venue to be confirmed.
We should be able to field a stronger side this season with a number of players hopefully available and eager to represent their County – Tim Smith, Joe Parsons, Neil Counter, Pete Eddy, Matt Waterton, Dave Priem, Mark Bracey to name a few.
Whatever the venue this is always a thoroughly enjoyable weekend with the chance to play (and watch!) some great squash. Who knows, maybe even Max Millar could be persuaded to play too?

Over 35 inter county hosts confirmed as Somerset – likely to be held in Taunton.
We are scheduled to play Somerset, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire which should provide some great squash. There will be 2 matches on the Saturday and 1 on the Sunday with (hopefully!) Max making his Over 35 County debut! It would be great to field a strong side so would everyone that is a) interested b) available and c) old enough (sorry Dave!) please contact me asap either through this site or mobile (07770473023) so I can pick a team.

Another date for your diary Over 35 squashers – 24th/25th March for Stage 2 of the inter county over 35 event.
If I get picked (who does the team selection I wonder?) I may even last the whole weekend! For those that dont know what that refers to I shall say it was an injury, for those that do know lets just say no more!
Bedfordshire are hosting with our other opponents Sussex and Somerset.
I anticipate the usual format – but this time with potentially a very early Saturday morning start!
Who is fighting fit and wanting to play?

Over 35 team picked and (hopefully!) raring to go for our trip to Bedfordshire. I hope the no booze and fitness regimes are working well.
With 3x Cornwall Over 35 debutants in Max Millar (yep we are all getting old if Max is Over 35!), Dave Priem and Pete Madsen it should be an exciting weekend of Squash.
For those playing matches start on Saturday @ 1200 at The Bunyan Centre, Mile Road, Bedford, MK42 9TS. Match 2 kicks off @ 1445.
Match 3 is Sunday morning @ 1100am.
We are booked into the Railway Hotel, 15 Shakespeare Road, Bedford, MK40 2DZ Friday and Saturday night.

Over 35 Inter County is here again on Saturday 20th/Sunday 21st October but this time we have a home draw – at Truro.
Hopefully we can field a strong side and call on some local support!

Inter County Over 35 Squash at Truro Squash & Racketball Club – Saturday 20th October @ 1200
Cornwall start their 2012/13 Stage 1 with a home fixture against Somerset – with Gwent and Dorset to follow that weekend.
The match starts at 1200 so please come down to lend your support to the old boys of Cornish Squash!
Rory is arranging 2020 squash event at Truro that same morning – with teams of 20 players playing to 20 points.He still needs players so contact Rory to get your name on the list and be part of a worldwide event to show why squash should be in the 2020 Olympics.
Play your match, stay to cheer on the County team – and the bar will be open!

Gwent have withdrawn from the weekend so all 3 x matches will be played on Saturday.
Cornwall kick things off at 1200 against Somerset.
With Rory organising 2020 Squash that morning @ 1030 come down, have a game and stay to watch the County side.

The Cornwall Over 35 team is picked and raring to go – hopefully!
The 1200 fixture sees Neil Counter, Elliott Moore, Matt Waterton, Mike Morgan and Pete Walker battling it out against Somerset.
The later fixture against Dorset will see Cornwall sporting some fresh legs with Tim Smith and Dave Priem stepping in for Mike and Pete.
Come down and watch some squash – with Matt Harford playing for Somerset even the away team has a local connection!

No team has yet been picked – it will depend on who is fit and available at the time!

With inter county squash at Taunton this weekend we are now reduced to 4 players.
There are places for 2 players available – even if someone could only play Saturday (2 x matches) or Sunday (1 x match) it would help the team.
Accommodation booked for 6 players on Saturday night all paid for – all you need is your kit and beer money!
